Knitting 101 (Beginning Knitting): $105 (includes materials)

Learn the basics of knitting: casting on, knit and purl stitches, binding off and lots more.

Option 1:  Fridays, July 16, 23, 30, & August 6 - 10:00-1:00 (4 sessions)

Option 2:  Wednesdays, July 21, 28, August 4 & 11 – 6:30-8:30 (4 sessions)

 

 

Finishing Workshop: $75

Learn seaming techniques, picking up stitches, and many tips and tricks to produce a professional looking garment.

Option 1: Wednesdays, July 14 & 21 – 6:30-8:30 (2 sessions)

Option 2: Sundays, August 1 & 8 – 11:00‑1:00 pm  (2 sessions)

 

 

Project Knitting:  $95

Let Sally help you choose a project and yarn to work on over four weeks with her excellent help and patience. This is the time to start that project youÕve been dreaming about but were afraid to try without some help.      

Mondays, July 12, 19, 26, & August 2 – 6:30-8:30 (4 sessions)

 

 

Cables workshop: $45

Learn how to read cable patterns and use cable needles.  Spice up your knitting by adding a cable to it!

Thursday, July 15 – 12:00-2:00 (one session)

 

 

Crochet 101: $105 (includes materials)

Learn the basics of crochet: making a chain, single, double and treble crochet, and lots more.  YouÕll be on your way to crocheting beautiful blankets and garments!

Saturdays, July 10, 17, 24, & 31 – 10:00-12:00 (4 sessions)

 

 

Knitting and Crochet for Lefties: $75

From basic knitting and crocheting to advanced, learn all you need to know the Lefty way!  No need to look in the mirror or read patterns backwards!  All those questions youÕve had that couldnÕt be answered by righties will be answered!

Saturdays, July 17, 24, 31 – 12:00 -2:00 (3 sessions)

 

 

Lizard Ridge Workshop: $45

Learn how to knit this fascinating stitch pattern, in which undulating waves are miraculously created, with Noro Kureyon or Silk Garden, to produce squares for an afghan, scarf, bag, or any other project.

Make a Felted Bag: $45

See what the felting craze is all about!  Choose yarn and get started on a unique, felted bag that will draw compliments and become your favorite project bag!

Knit to Felt Slippers: $45

Make a simple but wonderful pair of felted slippers that will get you started on your holiday gifts!

Kid Ôn Ewe (That Means YOU!): $75 (per couple) –materials included

Bring along your favorite kid and learn to knit together. No adult admitted without a child!

Socks 101: $75

Nothing is cooler than handknit socks, except for knitting them!  A very portable project,  socks are a perfect take-along to the beach for that hour after eating before you can go back in the water.

Fixing Mistakes: $45

Learn to recognize and correct all those irritating mistakes that keep knitting from being the ultimate please that it should be!  Dropped stitches, putting stitches back on the needle, figuring out what row youÕre on and how many youÕve doneÉ.all these mysteries and more will be solved.

Crochet 102:  $75

For those who have mastered the basics of crochet and want to move on to complex stitches, techniques and patterns.

Tuesdays, July 13, 20, 27 – 11:00-1:00 (3 sessions)

 

Lace 101: $75

Learn to master those holes and incorporate them (intentionally!) into exquisite scarves and sweaters! Lace techniques can be used with all weights of yarn to create beautiful patterns in your knitting.

Thursdays, July 29, August 5 & 12 – 12:00-2:00 (3 sessions)

 

Tunisian Crochet: $75

Learn this ancient technique that is an interesting combination of knitting and crochetÉ.sort of!  This technique has experience a huge resurgence in popularity recently, so find out what itÕs all about!

Saturdays, July24, 31, & August 7 – 12:00-2:00 (3 sessions)
